Arsenal ladies’ Smith prolongs career with Pilates

Smith added that some of her team-members also participate in hot yoga classes. She hopes that Pilates and yoga lessons will help her to stay strong and supple, enabling her to play at her best.

The footballer is pushing herself hard to make the squad and is very excited that the BBC has bought the rights to show the 2015 Women’s World Cup. She believes that this will raise the profile of the sport and bring in a lot of new fans to support the team.

Smith has already played in 115 matches for England, so she is well used to the pressure that comes with big games.
