			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A recent study has shown that Pilates is the most effective form of exercise for those who are suffering from lower back pain as opposed to a more general exercise regimen.<span id="more-805"></span> There are millions of people across the globe who battle with lower back pain each and every day and it has long been recommended that they take part in gentle exercise which can help to ease their pain, however, it has now been discovered that Pilates is far more effective than previously prescribed exercise regimes.</p>
<p>The study which was conducted by Australian researchers split patients with lower back pain into two groups. The first group was assigned a programme of <a href="http://www.live-pilates.co.uk/pilates-classes"><img src="/favicon.ico" alt="Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes " width="16" height="16" class="alinks_links" />Pilates classes</a> and the second group were given a general exercise programme, which they were to carry out for six weeks. The patients in the study were all slightly overweight and had a history of back pain which went back years.</p>
<p>At regular intervals, patients were given questionnaires to determine how much pain they were feeling, how their general health was and, although both groups showed an improvement in their general health and the amount of lower back pain they were feeling, the group who took regular Pilates classes showed a bigger general improvement than those who took generic exercise classes.</p>
<p>It is thought that the personal attention and the increased amount of emphasis on stretching and mental wellbeing which is experienced in Pilates classes made all the difference to the patients who saw the most improvement.</p>

In a recent interview, she talked about working with the stars and discusses the exercises she recommends for those who wish to maintain a Hollywood <span id="more-799"></span>body.</p>
<p>Neda is a big fan of Pilates and believes it is a much more sustainable way to work out. Often, she finds her celebrity clients get bored when asked to do sit ups or crunches, but when they take part in group <a href="http://www.live-pilates.co.uk/pilates-classes"><img src="/favicon.ico" alt="Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes " width="16" height="16" class="alinks_links" />Pilates classes</a>, they tend to enjoy themselves much more and this means they can go on for longer.</p>
<p>Also, Neda recommends her clients do workouts such as Pilates classes to music &#8211; as this tends to help them go on for longer without getting bored, too. Not only this but Neda believes that, if you want to stick to a successful workout routine, then you should try to pair up with an exercise buddy. You are more likely to stick to your regime if you have someone by your side, encouraging you to go on for longer.</p>
<p>Unlike the odd Hollywood trainer, Neda has a well balanced and refreshing attitude to exercise and food. She believes we should all be taking part in exercise we enjoy, such as yoga or Pilates, without pushing ourselves too hard and, when it comes to food, she believes that moderation, rather than restriction, is the key to a healthy body and mind.</p>

Liz told reporters how much harder she finds it to look good now that she is over 40. Right up until her 30’s, she had no problem staying trim and looking fresh but now she must make more<span id="more-784"></span> effort to keep fit with Pilates, yoga and walking.</p>
<p>Liz, who is now 46, has credited her young looks on a mixture of <a href="http://www.live-pilates.co.uk/pilates-classes"><img src="/favicon.ico" alt="Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes " width="16" height="16" class="alinks_links" />Pilates classes</a>, yoga and a good night’s sleep each and every night, so there’s no more boozy parties and late nights for her. She said:</p>
<blockquote><p>‘I don’t think growing older means looking less good. I’m not trying to look younger, I just want to look my absolute best’ </p></blockquote>
<p>and if that’s her aim, she has definitely achieved it.</p>
<p>Liz also talked about her food cravings which have increased as she has gotten older. Where once she could exist on coffee and cigarettes, now she is constantly on the look out for a tasty treat and even claims to eat more than fiancé, Shane Warne. She said: </p>
<blockquote><p>‘Shane is very disciplined. I eat three times more than him because I’m greedy and think about food constantly.&#8217;</p></blockquote>
<p>Luckily, her regime of Pilates and yoga in the warmer months and long walks with her beloved dog in the winter months seem to be doing the trick and she seems to have little trouble in burning off the extra calories, so she can stay fit and trim for her bikini modelling contract.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a recent interview with Eden Sassoon, the daughter of famous hairdresser Vidal Sassoon, she revealed that she was a huge pilates fan and is in fact the owner of her own pilates studio in Beverly Hills, Pilates Plus by Eden Sassoon. <span id="more-781"></span></p>
<p>Eden told reporters that, when she was growing up, she was always taught the value of healthy living and exercise and how important it was to keep fit, by both her parents. She now takes <a href="http://www.live-pilates.co.uk/pilates-classes"><img src="/favicon.ico" alt="Pilates classes in pilates classes pilates classes " width="16" height="16" class="alinks_links" />pilates classes</a> at least three times a week and is in the best shape of her life. Eden also told reporters that pilates was her passion in life and that she does her best to inspire all the clients who visit the Pilates Plus studio.</p>
<p>As well as talking about her love of pilates, Eden also talked about her father Vidal, who she described as an ‘amazing man’ who was a great example to her when growing up. She said:</p>
<blockquote><p>“Although he was a beauty expert, he was always so involved in health and staying in shape”.</p></blockquote>
<p>This is obviously something which rubbed off on Eden who is as trim and toned as can be and loving every minute of her venture into the world of pilates classes and inner peace.</p>
<p>In what is evidently a Sassoon family tradition, Eden is keen to pass on her healthy habits to her own children who she hopes will follow her down the road to health, peace and happiness which comes with regular pilates classes.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Svelte star of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar has been doing the rounds promoting her new shoe ‘The Ringer’. The star, who shot to fame as teen vampire slayer Buffy Summers in the 90’s, is looking better than ever before, and her secret &#8211; pilates.<span id="more-778"></span></p>
<p>The pretty blonde star revealed that she is more confident about her body than ever before, at the age of 34. When she was starring in Buffy, she was much more insecure about the way she looked. As Buffy, she was a tough, butt kicking vampire slayer and that meant that she had to look toned and athletic at all times, leaving her to stress about her weight.</p>
<p>However, since giving birth to daughter Charlotte Grace, she has relaxed a lot and no longer stresses about her body. She said: </p>
<blockquote><p>“I still work out five times a week. I run and do pilates. I walk to the soundstage rather than taking the cart but I don’t feel a burning pressure anymore, Charlotte is my priority.”</p></blockquote>
<p>The star also revealed that she no longer has scales in her home as she thinks that it is very unhealthy to obsess over your weight. After giving birth, she found it difficult to shed her baby weight, but through a strict pilates and running regime, she found that she was able to shed most of the weight eventually whilst still allowing herself a treat now and again. The level headed star said:</p>
<blockquote><p>“If you deny yourself everything because you’re so focused on the mirror or the scale, then when do you get to enjoy life?” </p></blockquote>
