Beyoncé lost baby weight with help from Pilates

Pop singer Beyoncé Knowles was spotted recently on her first public appearance since giving birth to her baby daughter and the world was surprised to see just how quickly she had managed to lose her baby weight. Beyoncé has already lost 40 pounds which prompted many critics to suggest that she may have had some help from a plastic surgeon but, it seems that Beyoncé lost her weight the good old fashioned way – with lots and lots of exercise and a good diet.

Beyoncé’s personal trainer, Marco Borges spilled the beans on her weight loss regime in a recent edition of Hollywood life, revealing that he moved in with the Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z not long after the birth of their daughter, so that he could help the star lose her baby weight as quickly as possible.

Borges revealed that Beyoncé goes through an extremely tense workout regime each day. She wakes at 5am and then proceeds to carry out two hours of intense training. This includes a lot of Pilates, yoga, dance and plyometric. They then repeat this process at 5pm. Beyoncé, he said, is very keen on Pilates and yoga as they help to tone her and bring back definition, as well as, aiding with weight loss.

As well as her brutal Pilates workouts, Beyoncé is also on a strict diet of six small, protein rich meals each day along with regular glasses of ice cold water which help her to shed those pounds quickly.
