Like many professionals, award winning architect Eduardo Calma spent many long hours sat hunched over a desk staring at a computer screen. The lack of movement in his daily working life caused him problems with his spine, as he explains:
I’d be sitting down, hunched in front of the computer while drawing for hours. I wasn’t using my stomach muscles.
Three years ago, Eduardo’s wife Suzanne suggested that he took Pilates classes to help with his back pain and to aid his general fitness.
