Huberman “addicted” to Pilates

The Irish writer and actress Amy Huberman has confessed her new-found love of Pilates.

Lately, when she is not busy acting in LA or working on her writing, the Dublin-born star can usually be found taking part in a stress-busting Pilates session.

The 33-year-old has been doing Pilates for a mere two months, but she has already caught the bug. In a recent interview, she said that she has become “addicted” to the exercise. Huberman added:

“I have been doing Reformer Pilates and I love it. You feel that you are working out, but it’s relaxing for your head too.”

The actress is the latest star to convert to Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes Pilates classes, thanks to its use in body toning, and is said to be never too far from her trusty Pilates mat.

One of her best friends, the model Aoife Cogan, has recently opened her own Pilates studio with her professional rugby player husband Gordon d’Arcy. Amy is a big supporter of her friend’s studio, despite never having worked out there due to it being too far away from the home she shares with her Irish rugby star husband, Brian O’Driscoll, and their young daughter in South Dublin.

Talking about her friend’s Pilates centre, she said:

“I haven’t worked out there because I go to another place called Platinum Pilates. Aoife is a good friend of mine and I have been and toured her studio but the other one is only down the road from me.”

This suggests that locality is importance in choices on Pilates classes, whether in Pilates classes in Lancashire pilates classes Lancashire, Limerick or LA.
