One time Bond girl and star of ‘Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman’, Jane Seymour has been opening up about her love of Pilates and the home-grown food which helps to keep her fit and seemingly ageless.

Jane, who was once a ballet dancer, has recently given us all a glimpse of how easy it is to stay fit and healthy without succumbing to gruelling Hollywood diets. The Hollywood actress does not believe in extreme diets and has never been worried if she happened to gain a few pounds because, she says, being healthy is the most important thing.

Thanks to regular Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes Pilates classes and a healthy diet, much of which is taken from her home garden, Jane claims that she is in much better shape now than she was when she made her memorable appearance as Solitaire in ‘Live and Let Die’.

Jane told the LA Times that she was always active as a child – taking regular ballet classes, although she hated sports. After injuring her knees at the ages of 17, she had to give up dancing and she did little exercise other than walk after that. Then, in 1976, she discovered Pilates and the exercise has been a huge part of her life ever since.

As well as Pilates, Jane enjoys beach walks, golf and tennis – all of which are enabled thanks to regular Pilates sessions which help her manage a back condition. She also grows organic fruits and vegetables at home and makes sure she eats her own produce each day.
