Madonna slogs it out with spinning and Pilates

Despite gearing up for her 56th birthday in August, Queen of Pop Madonna has not slowed down.

The blonde singer was recently spotted slogging her way through a gruelling spinning session before heading straight off to an equally challenging Pilates class in Los Angeles.

Madonna was pictured leaving the West Hollywood Cycle House, which is a very popular spinning studio, accompanied by some of her extremely fit backup dancers.

Wearing a baggy black hoodie with a heart and the letter ‘I’ on the front, knee-length purple workout pants and large aviators, the star seemed in good spirits as she changed to a plain hoodie before walking to a nearby Pilates class.

The star is currently seeing 26-year-old Timor Steffens and it is clear that she wants to keep up with her young lover, whom she is becoming increasingly close to. In fact, according to Grazia UK, the young backup dancer is very close to her son Rocco and has been teaching him how to skateboard.

It is clear, however, that Madonna prefers to keep fit in a more conventional way, with spinning and Pilates keeping her in tip-top condition.

When she isn’t working out, Madonna is busy spending time with Timor and her kids. She has also recently announced that she will be funding a number of free after school boxing classes and mentoring programmes in her hometown of Detroit. She will even provide local children with music and art supplies, as well as fund a project that employs homeless women.
