Pilates could be the secret behind Holly Willoughby’s toned look

Filed under: Pilates News — Susan on July 5, 2017

It has recently been revealed how Holly Willoughby’s new fitness routine has led to a new slimmer, more toned look.

For several weeks now, Willoughby’s fans have been commenting about how much slimmer she is looking. When she wore a skimpy dress to this year’s ‘Glamour Women of the Year Awards’, several fans commented on her new look on social media accounts. They are not the only ones who have noticed. Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha was recently overheard saying “Holly Willoughby’s disappearing!”

The 36-year-old star has lost quite a bit of weight recently, but she has also been working hard to build a strong core. She took up Pilates after the birth of her daughter Belle, in 2011.

After her son Chester was born in 2014, she stepped things up a bit by having private Pilates lessons at home. Her instructor gave us an insight into her workout routine when she recently spoke to a reporter from the Sun. Lynne Robinson said:

“Holly had postnatal mat work classes which concentrated on strengthening and toning her core.”

The ‘Play to the Whistle’ and ‘Meet the Parents’ star never discusses weight loss, or shares dieting tips. Over the years, she has interviewed several people who have been affected by eating disorders. As a result, she is very careful about what she says in public about diets. She does not want people to become fixated with her health and fitness regime and start to go down the wrong path.
