I come from a cycling background and spent 10 years on the Great Britain road cycling team. I represented both Great Britain and England in the Olympics, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and the Tour De France Feminin.

After retirement I took up cycling as a recreational cyclist. After having two children, sport and exercise took a back seat as I concentrated on my family life. My motivation to start Pilates was to bring muscle tone back to my tummy area, after having my family, when time to myself was at a premium.

I quickly noticed results using Pilates, which also complimented my other aerobic activities.
