Twilight star cites Pilates as key to a heavenly body

Ashley Green, the star of the next instalment of the Twilight film series, has said that Pilates is part of her no nonsense method for living healthily in Hollywood.

Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the smash hit film franchise, told Women’s Health magazine that she has no desire at all to be “scary skinny”.

The 23 year old actress is often photographed in her workout clothes, either going to or leaving the gym. She finds that her six sessions of Pilates per week is the secret to having such a great figure.

She commented:

“I don’t want a child’s body. I want a woman’s body that is extremely fit. It’s so much sexier.

“I do promote a healthy lifestyle, but do it the right way. Eat well, exercise, and work with what ya got!

“Women should be healthy and enjoy life! And if you are a size zero it should be because you’re naturally that way not because of deprivation and starvation.”

Ashley found that the core strength she developed through Pilates helped her through the vigorous fight training that was required when filming ‘Eclipse’ and the forthcoming ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’. She also states that she doesn’t

“do the diet thing any more”

adding that she was a believer in giving your body what it needs by eating smaller, healthy portions, rather than perpetually denying herself of food.

So, even if you prefer ‘steaks’ to ‘stakes’ there are plenty of Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes Pilates classes in Pilates classes in Lancashire pilates classes Lancashire, Pilates classes in Preston pilates classes Preston and throughout the UK to give you the body you want.
