Vanessa Hudgens uses Pilates amongst workout challenges

American actress Vanessa Hudgens recently explained how she likes to change her diet and exercise routines to achieve the transformations she wants.

Hudgens, who famously played Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series, revealed her workout secrets in a recent interview she did for Women’s Health. The interview will be published in full in its December issue.

She explained that when something about her body makes her feel uncomfortable she does not simply put up with it. Instead, she solves the problem by putting herself through a challenge. She said:

“You will always have the power to do something. Sometimes it will take a little longer than you would like, and sometimes it may be a little more extreme. But if you honestly have a goal, you can do it.”

The 29-year-old star went on to explain that during the course of a week she will typically work out six times. Hudgens also likes to change the way she eats on a regular basis. She is always looking for something new that is healthy, but still fun to eat. Discovering new foods that taste great is something that she clearly loves. She has been doing this since the age of 18 when she realised that she could not just eat what she wanted. Gradually, she changed her diet and exercise regimes, which enabled her to transform her body too.
