Pilates the secret to Kristen Bell’s post-baby body

New mother Kristen – who is most famous for her role as Veronica Mars, in the TV show of the same name – recently revealed that she is losing her baby weight the smart way, and Pilates is a big part of her post-baby weight loss strategy.

Speaking to E! News, Kristen said:

“I’m definitely trying to lose it – I want to be clear, but I’m not letting it keep me up at night and I am not letting it become the narrative of my life for the next year.”

Unlike many other Hollywood stars, Kristen is taking the slow and sensible approach to weight loss and is happy for the weight to come off at a more natural pace. Despite this, the actress, who gave birth only six months ago, already looks toned.

Speaking of her fitness regime, she said:

“[I] started doing Pilates, I guess, probably three months ago to really get core strength back.”

As well as doing Pilates three times a week, Kristen also cycles and runs regularly, which has clearly helped to tighten up her figure significantly since the birth of her baby, but she does have another secret – Spanx.

She wears the tummy-sucking garments for extra support when attending red carpet events. However, if she keeps up her current Pilates regime, it shouldn’t be too long before she can ditch them altogether.
