Hugh Grant starts Pilates to keep him young

Hugh Grant turns 50 shortly and the British film star is reportedly dreading getting older.

Grant has dated beautiful women such as Jemima Khan and Liz Hurley in the past but is now single and according to Hello magazine, said he ‘feels old when in the company of women now’.

Grant told the magazine:

“I’ve actually started to do Pilates to try to keep me young.”

The actor went on to say he still feels young but he looks much older and doesn’t recognise the old man he sees in a picture of himself.  Following his forthcoming film ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’, Grant announced earlier this year he would be retiring from acting.

Whether male or female, it seems the advent of age can make both sexes feel that they need to make changes to their life.  Pilates is a great way to regain correct posture, improve your core muscles and stamina, and generally regain a feeling of a stronger body.  This can also help to prevent injury from sports or growing older from happening as easily as your muscles are stronger without adding bulk.

So you never know, get yourself along to a Pilates class near you and you could even see film stars like Hugh Grant exercising alongside you.
