Charlize Theron credits Pilates for her red carpet-ready body

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar Australia, South African actress and producer Charlize Theron revealed that she loves Pilates and talked about her plant-based diet.

The results of these two practices are clear to see with the actress positively glowing whenever she steps out on screen or on the red carpet.

On the subject of Pilates, Theron was emphatic about how much it has helped her along with a down-to-earth, honest approach to her eating and activity levels. She said that the exercise has transformed her body and that she calculates her activities. If she hasn’t been exercising and moving enough then she won’t eat as much. She is able to be honest with herself.

In 2017, the 43-year-old mum of two, spoke about her diet of protein-packed vegetables, green juices, super salads and an avoidance of alcohol. She explained:

“When I’m eating healthily, getting enough sleep and not drinking alcohol, that’s when I look my best. That’s when I’m happiest, and I think it shows.”

Theron is certainly focused and driven when it comes to her health and her career. She has a clutch of awards to her name and Time magazine named her one of the world’s top 100 influential people in 2016, while raising her two adopted daughters by herself as well.
