Princess Beatrice, the 31-year old granddaughter of the Queen, is due to get married in May this year to Edo Mapelli Mozzi and as part of her preparations, she has been attending Pilates classes.

Like any royal wedding, it will be a high-profile affair with an impressive guest list, plenty of attention to every detail and stunning fashion on show from the wedding party and their guests.

Like many other brides to be, Princess Beatrice is making sure she is completely prepared for her big day with an intense health and fitness regime. She has been spotted attending regular Pilates session in a trendy Chelsea gym. The Paola’s Body Barre classes combine Pilates, intense workouts and ballet to tone, sculpt and strengthen the whole body. On top of the physical workouts for the last six months, Beatrice has also been paying attention to her eating habits, with plenty of green juices featuring in her diet.

Princess Beatrice is no stranger to working hard for her fitness. In 2010, she trained for her first marathon under the guidance of personal trainer Nadya Fairweather, who described the princess as her “dream client”, full of unwavering focus and determination.

Whether you are preparing for you own big day or you’re simply wanting to get into shape or strengthen up, Pilates is an excellent exercise system to add to your workout regime. With classes all over the country from Blackburn to Burnley, you will be able to find the perfect class and instructor without travelling too far afield.
