As spring arrives, the winter hibernation is over and we can all start to look forward to warmer days, a holiday in the sun and the chance for ladies to wear a summer dress and bare our arms and for the guys to sport their shorts – but are our legs ready to face the world? According to numerous report and fitness experts, Pilates is a great exercise for toning up the legs, thighs, arms and stomach, as well as improving posture and reducing cellulite.

During the winter, the odd fitness DVD might have been ok but there is far more motivation attending Pilates classes in Pilates classes pilates classes Pilates classes. With a less formal and relaxed class, you can meet new people, make a few friends and enjoy yourself whilst toning up. There are also private, one to one Pilates sessions for those who prefer privacy or can’t get to a class as well as specific classes aimed at men, ladies or specific areas such as Pilates for back pain for those who don’t want to join a general class. One great thing about Pilates is you are never too young, too old, too fat or too unfit to benefit from Pilates classes because it is not an impact exercise, although don’t let that fool you into thinking it doesn’t work.
